Windmills and wind turbines have been used for a very, very long time for many different uses. In 5000 BCE, wind was used to propel boats along the Nile River. In 200 BCE, China was using windmills to pump water. Now, wind turbines are used to produce electrical energy and heat all over the world.

Just one single smaller wind turbine can power a small school or building. All of the wind in North Dakota alone has the potential to power half of the United States.


Wind power is a fantastic resource for providing, clean, safe, eco-friendly energy to your home of business building. It is also renewable and inexhaustible, making it very efficient and lasting. Wind energy is the "fastest prospering energy sector."
