Hydroelectricity, as its name implies, is energy created by moving water and used for electricity. At the present moment, hydroelectricity is only used to create electricity. The cost of fuel for hydroelectricity is cheap because rivers are natural landforms and do not need to be bought; in addition, the water for rivers, and therefore hydro dams come from the water cycle, which is a natural force. Although, the cost to build a facility to harness the energy from water is high. Dams are very expensive to build because they require a lot of time and work.
